Overview

An experienced litigator and problem-solver, Beth’s practice encompasses all aspects of labor and employment litigation, investigations, advice, and counseling. With a broad knowledge-base and deep experience in employment, labor, and education-industry litigation and counseling, Beth has successfully represented clients in state and federal court, as well as administrative proceedings and government investigations. Beth is also an experienced independent investigator, and has lead highly-sensitive investigations in various employment and educational settings.

Experience

  • Representing clients in lawsuits, agency proceedings, and government investigations on a variety of employment disputes, with a focus on wage and hour class actions, single plaintiff discrimination, unfair competition, employee raiding, trade secret misappropriation, and restrictive covenant litigation.
  • Advising clients in matters relating to employment discrimination, workplace harassment, retaliation, medical leave, wrongful discharge, traditional labor law, wage and hour compliance, restrictive covenants, and termination of employment, including reductions in force.
  • Drafting policies and employment-related documents, including employment agreements, employee handbooks and state-specific supplements, student/parent handbooks, and vendor agreements.
  • Investigating highly sensitive discrimination allegations, including those involving allegedly criminal conduct, and many of which have involved highly-placed members of corporate entities, unionized employees, municipalities, students, and/or minor children.
