Dallas Business Journal Recognizes Amber Rogers as a Leader in Diversity
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Amber M. Rogers was named to the Dallas Business Journal’s 2022 Leaders in Diversity awards. The award program, in its second year, honors organizations and individuals who have “shown exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in business leadership and who bolster equality across all areas of diversity.”
As the hiring partner of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Dallas office and the first African-American woman elected to the firm’s Executive Committee, Rogers assists clients with traditional labor relations and litigation, conducting sensitive workplace investigations, employment advice and counseling and complex employment litigation. She is a leader and promoter of diversity both in the firm and in the greater legal community, having co-founded The NEW (Network of Empowered Women) Roundtable to focus on influencing, empowering and impacting careers of African-American women attorneys. She is co-chair of the Dallas office diversity committee and of the firm’s Diversity Oneness Luncheon series, which is a quarterly gathering for the firm’s racial and ethnic minority attorneys. Rogers is also a frequent author and speaker and has travelled internationally to train executives on effectively conducting workplace investigations.
Amber and the other honorees will be recognized at a special awards event in February 2022 and will be featured in a special publication in print and online in the Dallas Business Journal.
