11-on-11 Bankruptcy Series – Part 2

Thursday, March 18

4:00 – 5:00 pm (ET) / 3:00 – 4:00 pm (CT) / 1:00 – 2:00 pm (PT)

Join the Hunton Andrews Kurth Bankruptcy and Restructuring team for the second of the two part 11-on-11 series providing an introduction and high-level overview of the Chapter 11 process. This program will include the final four 11 minute segments on the basics of bankruptcy, including a high-level overview of the Bankruptcy Code and segments on how the bankruptcy court system works, letters of credit, preferences, fraudulent transfer, the rules of priority and payment, executory contracts, and landlord/lease issues arising in bankruptcy. This series will serve as a great introduction to, or refresher on, the basics of bankruptcy law and is designed to help non-bankruptcy lawyers identify issues, know when to bring in a member of the Bankruptcy and Restructuring, and ultimately, help you better serve your clients.

This program will be led by Robin Russell and feature presentations from partners Greg Hesse and Joseph Rovira, counsel Justin Paget and associates Catherine Diktaban, Dain DeSouza, Philip Guffy, Nathan Kramer and Jennifer Wuebker, all members of our Bankruptcy and Restructuring team. All lawyers, regardless of practice area, are strongly encouraged to attend this series. We also invite our paralegals, RIS and Marketing/BD team to join, as this information will be helpful to all.

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP will seek CLE credit for this program in CA, FL, GA, NY, TX and VA. Credit hours are not guaranteed and are subject to each state’s approval rules.  Please be aware that due to various state bar closures, CLE accreditation will be delayed for the foreseeable future.  Any lawyer wishing credit elsewhere may individually seek credit.
