Andrews Kurth Represents IDB in $20 Million Senior Loan Facility to Banco de General S.A. (Costa Rica)

(Washington, DC)—On December 9, 2014, the Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB”) closed on a US$ 20 million senior loan facility to Banco General S.A. (the “Borrower”). The proceeds of the loan will be used to support the Borrower’s origination of loans to small- and medium- sized enterprises in the Republic of Costa Rica.

The U.S. based firm of Andrews Kurth LLP, advised the IDB as international counsel. Local legal advice was provided by Pacheco Coto in Costa Rica.
