Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to announce that partner Amber M. Rogers was honored by Corporate Counsel in the category of Collaborative Leadership in the publication’s 2024 list of the Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards. The award recognizes women leaders and allies “who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law,” with the Collaborative Leadership category focusing on women who “stand out as working well with external and internal stakeholders – the ‘team players.’”

Rogers is the hiring partner of the firm’s Dallas office and a member of the firm’s executive committee. Her national practice focuses on assisting clients with traditional labor relations and litigation, conducting sensitive workplace investigations, employment advice and counseling, and complex employment litigation. Her litigation experience also includes regularly representing clients in wage and hour collective and class actions, and trade secrets and post-employment restrictive covenant disputes. Rogers assists clients in a multitude of industries across the U.S.

Additionally, Rogers is a leader and promoter of diversity in the firm and the legal community, having co-founded The NEW (Network of Empowered Women) Roundtable to focus on influencing, empowering, and impacting the careers of African-American women attorneys. She also serves as co-chair of the Dallas office diversity committee and of the firm’s Diversity Oneness Luncheon series, which is a quarterly gathering for the firm’s racial and ethnic minority attorneys.

Rogers and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards dinner on September 24 and will be profiled individually on the Corporate Counsel website throughout the month of September.
