Crain’s Names Shawn Regan to its 2024 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to share that Shawn Patrick Regan, partner and chair of the Corporate & Securities Litigation and Government Investigations practice groups, has been named to the 2024 Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consultancy and Law list by Crain’s New York Business. This elite list honors 101 top accountants, consultants and attorneys in New York who “possess the financial, strategic, and legal expertise to drive significant commercial activity in the region, shaping New York City’s business landscape and fostering enterprise growth.”

In nominating Regan, one client noted that he “combines sharp and strategic thinking with deep understanding of the facts, the law, and how they need to work together to deliver a win.”

Regan leads the Corporate & Securities Litigation and Government Investigations practice groups firmwide. His practice focuses on complex litigation, putative class/mass actions, securities litigation and government investigations. In addition to his work as lead trial counsel in courts and arbitral forums, Regan has argued and been lead counsel of record in numerous appeals, including in the Supreme Court of the United States, the New York State Court of Appeals and several United States Circuit Courts of Appeals. He has been appointed to numerous leadership positions outside the firm, including his current role as president of the Federal Bar Council, the Second Circuit’s premier bar organization.
