Daily Journal Names Shannon S. Broome Among the 2024 Top 100 Lawyers in California

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Shannon S. Broome has been recognized among the 2024 Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal. This West Coast ranking spotlights just 100 lawyers from throughout California who are practicing and barred in the state and have made a difference to their clients, their firms and their profession.

Broome is the managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office, leads the California environmental practice and co-leads the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance practice. She is frequently sought by Fortune 50 energy and manufacturing companies for her litigation and negotiation skills and has nearly 30 years of experience challenging and defending EPA and California regulations, defending enforcement actions before federal, state, and appellate courts and agencies, and obtaining complex permits from federal and state agencies. A particular highlight this year is Broome’s current practice encompassing new technology to address climate change, including carbon capture, sequestration and e-fuels, in an effort to advance net-zero goals. This is the sixth time in recent years that Broome has been selected to the Daily Journal’s Top 100 Lawyers list.
