Douglass P. Selby, a Hunton & Williams municipal finance partner, represented the city of Atlanta and Atlanta BeltLine Inc. in the reissuance of $64.5 million in Series 2008 BeltLine tax-exempt tax allocation district (TAD) bonds. Selby discussed the legal work on the transaction and the bond market environment. Tax partner William H. McBride in Raleigh and public finance associate Rachel L. Devenow in Atlanta assisted on the project. Selby’s practice focuses on public finance including serving as bond and underwriters' counsel for government and private activity bonds and corporate representation of governmental authorities as outside general counsel.
