Georgia Trend Magazine Names Douglass Selby and Shaney Lokken Among 2024 Legal Elite

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Douglass P. Selby and counsel Shaney B. Lokken have been recognized by their peers as members of Georgia Trend magazine’s 2024 Legal Elite in the category of Public Finance/Bond Law.

For the 22^nd annual recognition of Georgia’s Legal Elite, Georgia Trend magazine asked lawyers across the state to nominate colleagues they considered the “top attorneys” across 15 categories, with the most voted attorneys earning a place on the list.

Selby serves as managing partner for the firm’s Atlanta office and co-chair of the firm’s national public finance practice group. His practice focuses on public finance, including serving as bond and disclosure counsel to issuers and underwriters’ counsel to investment banks for governmental and private activity bonds and corporate representation of governmental authorities as outside general counsel.

Lokken represents governmental issuers, investment banks and conduit borrowers as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel in a variety of tax-exempt financings, including affordable housing, higher education and economic development projects. She brings nearly 20 years of law firm and in-house financial services industry experience to the firm’s public finance practice.
