Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises Hersha Hospitality Trust in $1.4 Billion Acquisition by KSL Capital Partners
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised Hersha Hospitality Trust in its $1.4 billion acquisition by KSL Capital Partners. The definitive merger agreement was entered into on August 27, 2023, where KSL will acquire all outstanding common shares of Hersha at $10.00 per share.
Hersha Hospitality Trust is a self-advised real estate investment trust in the hospitality sector, which owns and operates luxury and lifestyle hotels in urban gateway and regional resort markets.
The Hunton Andrews Kurth deal team was led by corporate partners James Davidson and Kate Saltz with the assistance of associates Matthew Hayes and Elizabeth White. The team also involved partner Kendal Sibley and counsel Anna Page for tax, and partner Kimberly MacLeod and counsel Hillary Patterson for capital finance.
