Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises IDB Invest in A/B Loan to Banco Davivienda Salvadoreño, S.A.

On December 23, 2020, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”) closed on an unsecured $100 million A/B loan facility to Banco Davivienda Salvadoreño, S.A. (“Davivienda El Salvador”). The proceeds of the loan will be used by Davivienda El Salvador to finance the development of green (energy efficient and renewable energy) projects and to make sub-loans to small and medium-sized enterprises in El Salvador.

The U.S.-based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB Invest as international counsel. Salvadoran legal advice to IDB Invest was provided by BLP.
