Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises IDB Invest in TTD $250 Million Loan to Home Mortgage Bank

On November 24, 2020, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”) closed on a secured senior 250 million Trinidad & Tobago Dollar denominated loan facility to Home Mortgage Bank (“HMB”). The proceeds of the loan will be used by HMB to fund HMB’s acquisition of sub-loans on the secondary mortgage market in Trinidad and Tobago, contributing to the development of the secondary mortgage market and housing finance industry in Trinidad & Tobago.
