Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises on AEP Texas Inc.’s $60 Million Tax-Exempt Bond Remarketing
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP acted as counsel to Barclays Capital Inc., as remarketing agent, for the remarketing of $60 million aggregate principal amount of 4.25% Matagorda County Navigation District Number One (Texas) Pollution Control Revenue Refunding Bonds (Central Power and Light Company Project) Series 1996.
AEP Texas Inc. (“AEP Texas”) is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. (“AEP”) and is part of AEP’s transmission and distribution utilities segment. AEP Texas is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 1,094,000 retail customers through retail electric providers in west, central and southern Texas.
