Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises Underwriters in Connection with WEC Energy Group, Inc.’s $900 Million Senior Notes Offering
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP represented the underwriters in connection with an SEC-registered offering by WEC Energy Group, Inc. (WEC) of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.00% Senior Notes due September 27, 2025 and $400 million aggregate principal amount of 5.15% Senior Notes due October 1, 2027. The transaction closed on September 27, 2022.
WEC is a public utility holding company whose wholly-owned subsidiaries are primarily engaged in the business of providing regulated natural gas and electricity services in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. In addition, WEC has an approximately 60% equity interest in American Transmission Company LLC, a regulated electric transmission company, and majority interests in several wind generating facilities as part of its non-utility energy-infrastructure business.
