Hunton Andrews Kurth Advises on Ohio Power Company’s $450 Million Offering of Senior Notes

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Ohio Power Company (OPCo) of $450 million aggregate principal amount of 4.00% Senior Notes, Series O, due 2049.

OPCo is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. OPCo is engaged in the transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 1,486,000 retail customers in Ohio.
