Hunton Andrews Kurth Names Mike Kerrigan Charlotte Office Managing Partner

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Mike Kerrigan has been named managing partner of the firm’s Charlotte office. He succeeds Todd Brown, who was nominated as a Special Superior Court Judge by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, and will be sworn in on December 19.

Kerrigan, who leads the firm’s Capital Finance & Real Estate Team, focuses his practice on the purchase, sale and trading of loans, securities, claims, derivatives and other interests in domestic and international companies in, near, or emerging from financial distress.

He is a prolific writer on a broad range of subjects, both legal and non-legal, and his work is regularly published in widely read publications including The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, The Charlotte Observer, and many more. Kerrigan joined Hunton Andrews Kurth in 1996 and has spent his entire legal career with the firm.
