Hunton Andrews Kurth Partners Recognized Among Thailand’s Top 100 “A List” Lawyers

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that the Thailand Top 100 ‘A-list’ Lawyers 2019 report by Asia Business Law Journal has ranked lawyers of the Bangkok office: Edward Koehler, Stephen Bennett, James Bradley and Apichart Phankeasorn.

Compiling the A-List

The A-List is based on extensive research conducted by Asia Business Law Journal (“ABLJ”). For this ABLJ turned to thousands of in-house counsel in Thailand and around the world, as well as Thailand-focused partners at international law firms, and asked them to nominate private practice lawyers including foreign legal consultants, advisors and counsel for the list of Thailand’s top 100 lawyers.

Nominations were made by professionals from a wide range of Thailand and global companies and law firms, including: Clyde & Co Clasis Singapore; Chooi & Company + Cheang & Ariff; Legal Solutions; Aquinas Law Alliance; Vision & Associates; dwp International; Deliveree; Mataram Partners; aCommerce Group Ltd; Western Union, India; Herzfeld & Rubin PC; Axinan; UIB Holdings; Gateway Law Corporation; UC Associates: Bhutan Law Office; Global Upside; Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; Ella Cheong; EforL Aim PCL; Beehive Asia; Eatigo International; and many more. The nominations were supported by detailed research from secondary sources.

The final list reflects the nominations received combined with Asia Business Law Journal editorial team’s more than 30 years of collective experience in documenting and analyzing Thailand’s legal market. All Thai private practice lawyers were automatically eligible for inclusion in the nominations process and, as always, there were no fees or any other requirements for entry.
