Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents IDB Invest in $20 Million Secured Loan to Maquinarias y Vehículos S.A. MAVESA

On January 19, 2019, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (“IDB Invest”) as lender, closed on a $20 million secured loan to Maquinarias y Vehículos S.A. MAVESA, a sociedad anónima organized and existing under the laws of the Republic of Ecuador, as borrower.

The U.S. based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB Invest as international counsel. Ecuadorian legal advice to IDB Invest was provided by Perez, Bustamante & Ponce. Ecuadorian legal advice to the borrower was provided by Mendez Córdova Abogados.
