Hunton Andrews Kurth Supports 2024 City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries Council (LARE) Spirit of Life Celebration

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is proud to have recently supported the Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries Council (LARE) Spirit of Life® Celebration benefiting City of Hope. Members of the firm’s Los Angeles Real Estate team attended the sold-out industry event, which has raised more than $26 million over the years to aid the groundbreaking research at City of Hope.

The annual Spirit of Life Celebration, held each fall, is the primary LARE fundraising initiative, providing the industry an opportunity to celebrate and give back to the important work that City of Hope has done in the fight against cancer and diabetes. At this year’s celebration, the 2024 Spirit of Life Award was presented to Kevin Shannon, co-head of US Capital Markets at Newmark. The award is presented each year to industry leaders who exemplify the ideals and values that have guided City of Hope for a century, and whose professional and humanitarian accomplishments are worthy of celebration.

Hunton Andrews Kurth attendees to the Spirit of Life Celebration included counsel Christopher W. Hasbrouck, associates Johann Pavri and Jimmy Bui, and Shane Wilson, a former firm associate now working in-house as real estate counsel for Trader Joe’s.
