Hunton Andrews Kurth Ranks Second Among Top Law Firms for US Asset-Backed Securities/Mortgage-Backed Securities Offerings for 2022

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that its structured finance practice posted impressive results in Asset-Backed Alert’s end-of-year 2022 league tables. The rankings represent the top-performing legal advisors based on the volume of asset-backed securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS) offerings completed during 2022.

Hunton Andrews Kurth ranked second among the most active underwriters’ counsel for U.S. ABS and MBS securitizations. The firm advised on 100 deals with a total issuance value of more than $51 billion during 2022. 

Hunton Andrews Kurth also maintained its second place ranking among firms representing issuers on U.S. ABS and MBS securitizations. The firm advised issuers on 91 deals with a total issuance value of approximately $44 billion during 2022; an increase of approximately $1 billion from the end of 2021.
