Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents IDB Invest In $20 Million Loan Facility to Atlantic Bank Limited

On December 15, 2020, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) closed on a $20 million unsecured loan facility to Atlantic Bank Limited (Atlantic Bank), a Belize corporation. The proceeds of the loan will be used by Atlantic Bank for the origination of sub-loans to small and medium sized enterprises in Belize.

The U.S.- based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB Invest as international counsel. Belize legal advice to IDB Invest was provided by Balderamos Arthurs LLP.  The Belize based firm of Salazar & Associates advised Atlantic Bank as Belize counsel.
