Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents IDB Invest on Atlantic Bank Financing

On December 6, 2023, the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), closed on a $30 million loan to Atlantic Bank Limited (Atlantic Bank), a financial institution organized and existing under the laws of Belize. Atlantic Bank will use the proceeds (of which $20 million is committed and $10 million may be committed at a later date)  to originate sub-loans to sub-borrowers in accordance with local regulations.

The U.S.-based firm of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised IDB Invest as international counsel. Balderamos Arthurs LLP advised it on matters related to Belizean laws.
