Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents Underwriters in Energy Transfer LP's Public Offerings of $4 Billion of Senior Notes
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP represented the underwriters in connection with connection with Energy Transfer LP's Public Offering of its $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.050% senior notes due 2026, $500 million aggregate principal amount of 6.100% senior notes due 2028, $1.0 billion aggregate principal amount of its 6.400% senior notes due 2030 and $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.550% senior notes due 2033.
The sale of the senior notes is expected to settle on October 13, 2023, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. Energy Transfer intends to use the net proceeds of approximately $3.973 billion (before offering expenses) from this offering to refinance existing indebtedness, including borrowings under our revolving credit facility and for general partnership purposes.
