Hunton & Williams Advises on Indiana Michigan Power Company $300 Million Senior Notes Offering

Hunton & Williams LLP acted as counsel to the underwriters for the issuance of $300,000,000 aggregate principal amount of Indiana Michigan Power Company 3.75% Senior Notes, Series L, due 2047.

Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M) is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc., a public utility holding company. I&M is engaged in the generation, transmission and distribution of electric power to approximately 592,000 retail customers in northern and eastern Indiana and southwestern Michigan, and in supplying and marketing electric power at wholesale to other electric utility companies, rural electric cooperatives, municipalities and other market participants.
