Hunton & Williams Advises on Southwestern Public Service Company $100 Million First Mortgage Bond Offering

Hunton & Williams LLP advised Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc. as joint book-running managers on an SEC-registered offering by Southwestern Public Service Company of $100 million aggregate principal amount of first mortgage bonds due 2041.

Southwestern Public Service Company is a subsidiary of Xcel Energy Inc., a major U.S. electricity and natural gas company that provides a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.4 million electricity customers and 1.9 million natural gas customers through its regulated operating companies in eight Western and Midwestern states.

The Hunton & Williams LLP team included Pete O'Brien, Steve Friend, Christina Kwon and Andrew Spector. Carey Tolley and Anna Page provided tax advice.
