Hunton & Williams LLP advised the underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (CECONY) of $500 million aggregate principal amount of debentures due 2047.

CECONY, a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc., provides electric service in all of New York City (except a part of Queens) and most of Westchester County, an approximately 660 square mile service area with a population of more than nine million. CECONY also provides gas service in Manhattan, the Bronx, parts of Queens and most of Westchester County, and steam service in parts of Manhattan.

The Hunton & Williams team included Michael Fitzpatrick, Christina Kwon and Patrick Jamieson. Cary Tolley and Anna Page provided tax advice.
