Hunton & Williams LLP Announces 2009 Partner Promotions

New York — April 1, 2009 — Hunton & Williams LLP today announced the election of Matthew Freimuth, Jarrett L. Hale, Eric W. Hurlocker, and Emily Burkhardt Vicente to its partnership. The firm is pleased to recognize this talented group of individuals and their leadership ability to serve its clients.

Matt Freimuth is a member of the firm's competition team and focuses his practice on the defense of major corporations in price-fixing, monopolization, and related actions in the financial services, health care, and pharmaceutical industries. An undergraduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Freimuth received his law degree from Georgetown University.

Jarrett Hale is a seasoned bankruptcy lawyer with successful trial and appellate experience. He has substantial experience with distressed asset acquisitions and has been responsible for overseeing financing and bonding transactions for major corporations. Eric Hurlocker is a member of the firm's regulated industries practice and focuses on energy law, construction and engineering law, and commercial transactions. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Richmond. He joined Hunton & Williams following graduation from law school, then was in-house counsel for Dominion Resources, Inc. and PPL Corporation, and rejoined Hunton & Williams, in Richmond, two years ago.

Emily Burkhardt Vicente's practice encompasses the full range of labor and employment litigation and advice, with significant experience representing major corporations in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. An undergraduate of St. John Fisher College, Vicente received a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
