Hunton & Williams LLP Listed Among Yale Law Women’s Top Ten Family Friendly Firms

WASHINGTON — April 19, 2013 — Hunton & Williams LLP is pleased to announce it has been awarded a place on Yale Law Women's 2013 list of Top Ten Family Friendly Firms. This is the second year in a row that Hunton & Williams has been included on this list, which honors leading law firms for their strong commitment to women's programs and family friendly practices.

In addition to being named a Top Ten Firm, Hunton & Williams also received Yale Law Women's Recognition of Superior Performance in two areas: Gender Equitable Use of Part-Time/Flex-Time and Overall Support of Part-Time/Flex-Time Use. The survey report noted that Hunton & Williams is among five firms that have approached gender parity in these areas with men accounting for 45% or more of all lawyers on part-time or flex-time schedules.

Hunton & Williams is committed to maintaining a diverse workforce and has multiple programs in place to recruit and retain minority and women lawyers. Additional recognition for the firm’s women's initiatives includes being listed by MultiCultural Law magazine as a Top 100 Law Firm for Women for the past seven years and being included among Working Mother Media's 50 Best Law Firms for Women four of the five years the listing has been published.
