New York — July 6, 2009 — Hunton & Williams LLP is pleased to announce Douglas J. Murphy has been promoted to Counsel status, effective July 2. Murphy focuses his practice on representing domestic and international banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions in US and cross-border syndicated and leveraged finance transactions, restructuring transactions, project finance and other corporate finance matters. Murphy earned an undergraduate degree from Columbia University and law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
