Hunton & Williams LLP Promotes Patricia S. Gill to Counsel
NEW YORK CITY — April 3, 2008 — Hunton & Williams LLP proudly announces the elevation of Patricia S. Gill to Counsel status. An integral member of the firm's labor and employment practice, she represents the law firm's clients in all aspects of labor and employment law, with a focus on whistleblower and discrimination litigation and counseling on complex employee relations issues.
The Hunton & Williams labor and employment practice covers the entire spectrum of labor and employment litigation; arbitration; administrative practice before the NLRB, EEOC, and the Labor Department; federal contract compliance; wage-hour standards; Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards; workers' compensation; and client counseling under federal and state labor and employment laws.
"Patty's election to Counsel is well deserved," said Gregory B. Robertson, co-head of the firm’s labor and employment practice group. "She has developed an extensive client counseling, litigation and traditional labor practice and provided critical assistance to our clients, many of which consider her their 'go-to' lawyer."
"She is a tremendous asset to our practice," continued L. Traywick Duffie, who co-heads the practice with Robertson. "In addition to her strong track record with the firm's clients, Patty mentors our young lawyers and has held leadership positions within Hunton & Williams, including serving as a representative to the firm's Associate Advisory Committee, which works with firm management on initiatives designed to make the firm a better place to work."
Gill joined Hunton & Williams in Dallas in 2001 during its merger with Worsham Forsythe Wooldridge and relocated to the firm's Richmond office last year. She received an undergraduate degree with distinction and law degree from the University of Virginia.
