Hunton & Williams LLP Promotes Ryan Becker, Rita Davis to Counsel

NEW YORK — November 12, 2012 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces the promotion to Counsel of Ryan A. Becker and Rita Davis of the firm's complex commercial litigation practice group. Through their many accomplishments, Becker and Davis have distinguished themselves as excellent lawyers and valued members of their practice group.

Ryan A. Becker is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on structured finance, complex consumer finance and business litigation. He has significant experience in federal and state trial courts around the country, with particular emphasis on effective discovery, fact development and trial work. He also counsels and works with clients on litigation risk management, including conducting internal investigations and jury research. Becker joined the firm in 2002.

Rita Davis focuses her practice on business torts, complex commercial disputes, insurance coverage disputes, personal injury litigation and alcohol beverage control regulation. Her practice spans international, federal, state and local levels. Davis is also dedicated to serving the community and has also devoted nearly 1000 hours to pro bono work. She has served as an officer in a local bar association, twice as president, and has received several significant service awards. Davis joined the firm in 2001.
