Hunton & Williams LLP Promotes Securitization Lawyers Sarah Bridges And Jonathan Kim to Counsel

RICHMOND/CHARLOTTE — February 18, 2014 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces the promotion to Counsel of Sarah P. Bridges and Jonathan H. Kim. Through their many accomplishments, Bridges and Kim have distinguished themselves as valued members of the firm’s structured finance and securitization practice.

Sarah Bridges, of the Richmond office, joined the firm in 2004. Her practice focuses on asset securitization and structured finance transactions and her clients include investment banks, commercial banks, insurance companies, mortgage companies and other financial institutions. She is a member of the Executive Council of the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Bridges leads the Richmond Mentoring Program for the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, a program that pairs lawyer volunteers with students at schools in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods. She graduated from Virginia Tech and received her law degree from William & Mary Law School.

Jonathan Kim, of the Charlotte office, also joined the firm in 2004. He serves as counsel to financial institutions in capital markets matters with a primary focus on mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization transactions. Kim is a member of the Investment Committee of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and a member of the Executive Council of the Mecklenburg County Asian Pacific American Bar. He is actively involved in pro bono matters and leads the Charlotte office’s involvement with Legal Services of Southern Piedmont. After graduating from NC State University, Kim received both his law degree and MBA from Wake Forest University.
