Hunton & Williams LLP Receives Top Rating in 2013 Corporate Equality Index

New York — November 30, 2012 — Hunton & Williams LLP is pleased to announce that the firm received a perfect score in the recently released Human Rights Campaign's annual "Corporate Equality Index." The Human Rights Campaign, a civil rights organization that advocates equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, rated 889 private corporations and law firms in its 2013 report on 40 practices and policies related to LGBT employees and their families. Factors contributing to Hunton & Williams’ top rating are its inclusive nondiscrimination policies, firmwide diversity training, domestic partner benefits, LGBT affinity group, and contributions to related community organizations.
