Hunton & Williams LLP's Sandy Collins Named Among Most Influential Women of Virginia

RICHMOND, VA — April 2, 2013 — Hunton & Williams LLP announces litigation partner Cassandra C. Collins, of the firm's Richmond office, was named to the Class of 2013 of "Influential Women of Virginia" by Virginia Lawyers Media, publishers of Virginia Lawyers Weekly and the Virginia Medical Law Report. This awards program recognizes the outstanding efforts of women in the commonwealth in all fields, including law, business, health care, education and the arts. The honors are given to individuals who are making notable contributions to their chosen professions, their communities and society at large.

Collins has litigated a wide variety of complex, multijurisdictional matters involving contracts, franchise and distribution agreements, power purchase agreements, leases, consumer finance, insurance policies, condemnations, and business torts, among other issues. Additionally, she has been a committed supporter of the firm’s Pro Bono office in Church Hill since its opening 20 years ago and an involved participant in the office’s project of providing legal aid to financially limited neighborhood residents.
