Hunton & Williams Promotes Leslie Hansen and Kirk Lovrić to Partner; Trevor Ives, Adam Rosser, and Michael Sievers to Counsel

NEW YORK — Hunton & Williams LLP announces the promotions of Leslie Hansen and Kirk A. Lovrić to partner and Trevor Ives, Adam J. Rosser, and Michael E. Sievers to counsel. The firm proudly recognizes them for their contributions and unwavering commitment to client service.

Leslie Hansen joined the firm in New York in 1999. She advises on all aspects of employee benefit matters, including the benefit aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions. Hansen currently represents several Fortune 500 clients regarding the provision of employee benefits, including formation and operation of ERISA and non-ERISA plans, communication of benefits to employees, and negotiating services agreements with providers.

London-based Dr. Kirk Lovrić has more than 20 years of experience focusing on transport and energy infrastructure projects, including public-private partnerships, independent power projects, and oil and gas project finance transactions in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. He speaks English, Croatian and Serbian and travels frequently to Central and Eastern Europe. Dr. Lovrić is advising the Croatian government on the development of natural-gas pipelines, such as the South Stream and the New European Transmission System, which will unite Central and South Eastern Europe’s gas transmission networks.

Trevor Ives has been with the firm for two years in Dallas, following a five-year stint as general counsel with a real estate development company. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, leasing, real estate finance, and the acquisition of non-performing commercial real estate loan portfolios. He has represented regional development companies in all phases of development and redevelopment projects, and represented borrowers and financial institutions in all aspects of real estate related financing transactions. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section.

Adam J. Rosser joined the firm in Washington in 2001 from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. He focuses exclusively on business immigration law, representing businesses and individuals before the Departments of Homeland Security, Labor, and State. He assists with petitions and visa applications to permit employment of foreign nationals, counsels businesses on policies and procedures for I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification, and counsels on the immigration consequences and available strategies for situations involving mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Michael E. Sievers has been with Hunton & Williams for over eight years and practicing law for more than 10 years. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Proskauer Rose in Los Angeles. His practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition, finance, development, and use of commercial and multi-family residential real estate, with a particular emphasis in tax credit-generating projects in the renewable energy and affordable housing sectors. He has received the Hunton & Williams Randolph Williams award for outstanding pro bono service from 2007-2010 and regularly represents renewable energy investors and developers, multi-family residential owners, and low-income housing tax credit syndicators.
