Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Names Christopher Cunio a 2024 Go To Lawyer for Business Litigation
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Christopher J. Cunio has been honored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a 2024 “Go To Lawyer” for business litigation in the Commonwealth.
MLW selected the honorees using a number of criteria, including expertise in their field, familiarity with the nuances of relevant case law, statutes and regulations, their ability to think creatively and identify all options for a client, and their demonstrated track record of success.
Based in Boston, Cunio handles complex commercial litigation, internal and external investigations, and business disputes of all varieties. He has litigated and tried matters involving real estate acquisitions and development, energy transmission construction and delivery contracts, information technology migration and deployment matters, C-level employment disputes, land-use and environmental cases, insurance coverage claims, and civil investigative demands and qui tam/false claims act matters brought against corporations in courts throughout Massachusetts, New York, and Texas, where he is admitted, and in several other states, on a pro hac basis. His core clients include energy companies, real estate developers, colleges and universities, technology companies, and healthcare organizations. He is personally involved in every one of his cases from intake to disposition, and is available 24/7 to his clients.
In addition to his practice, Cunio is very active in his community. He is currently a board member for several charities, including Cape Cod Bay Challenge for Christopher’s Haven located adjacent to several Boston hospitals, Uncle Bud’s Skatepark LLC, and the Levitate Foundation, which supports music, arts, and the environment. He has also served as an elected member to the Marshfield Planning Board, and was chairman for two years of his six-year term.
