The Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams LLP Appoints New Member to Its Advisory Board
WASHINGTON — July 13, 2012 — The Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams LLP is pleased to announce the appointment to its Advisory Board of Jonny Shipp, Head of Digital Confidence–Telefónica Europe plc.
As the leader of Telefónica's work on Digital Confidence, Shipp is responsible for building trust in digital environments by collaborating across the organization to facilitate wide-ranging communications and transformation initiatives. An acknowledged thought leader in the area of data protection, he works at the forefront of Telefónica’s emerging data-driven business models.
An expert on privacy and child internet safety, he is also the Industry Vice-Chair of the Internet Watch Foundation. Shipp has worked in the Internet and digital communications industry since 1996.
