Virginia Lawyers Weekly Names Alexandra Cunningham a 2024 Go To Lawyer for Negligence Law

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Alexandra B. Cunningham has been honored by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as one of 26 “Go To Lawyers” for negligence law in the Commonwealth.

VLW selected the honorees using five criteria, including expertise in their field, familiarity with the nuances of relevant case law, statutes and regulations, their ability to think creatively and identify all options for a client, and their demonstrated track record of success. 

Cunningham is head of the firm’s Litigation team. Her litigation and risk management practice focuses on product liability, toxic tort and environmental litigation, food contamination claims, and wrongful death and personal injury defense, including mass torts, class actions and multidistrict litigation. In addition to representing major corporate clients in all aspects of product liability, Cunningham also advises clients on legal issues related to COVID-19, including potential claims risk and mitigation, wrongful death, personal injury and nuisance claims defense strategies. She has appeared as trial counsel in state and federal courts around the country, and has led appeals to the Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia and United States Supreme Courts. Cunningham has also led arbitrations before the International Chamber of Commerce and American Arbitration Association.
