Virginia Lawyers Weekly Names Partner Maya Eckstein a 2024 Leader in the Law
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that partner Maya M. Eckstein has been named a 2024 Leader in the Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Eckstein is one of just 27 Virginia lawyers being honored in this 2024 “class” for outstanding contributions to the practice of law.
Eckstein represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation and appeals spanning diverse industries and subject matter. Many of her cases have focused on intellectual property matters, including patent, trade secret, and trademark matters. Eckstein is the former head of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice, sits on the Associates Committee, and is co-chair of the Richmond office’s Pro Bono Committee.
Now in its 19th year, Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s Leaders in the Law awards program recognizes the lawyers across the Commonwealth who are setting the standard for other attorneys in Virginia. “Leaders” are recognized for improving Virginia’s justice system, making significant achievements through the practice of law, and making important contributions to Virginia’s legal community and/or the community at large.
