Andrew Blasio

Andrew is a finance associate in the firm’s Capital Finance and Real Estate practice group. Andrew’s finance practice consists of a broad range of commercial lending and finance transactions, including the representation of lending institutions, private investment funds and borrowers spanning a variety of industries in commercial financing transactions.

Andrew’s practice also includes the representation of developers, owners and investors in various commercial real estate transactions, including the financing, development, acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, multifamily projects, hotels and office buildings.

Experience

Assisted in the representation of administrative agent and collateral agent in connection with the $415 million refinancing of a credit facility provided to borrowers in the credit card processing industry.
Represented borrowers in connection with the refinancing of a $300 million term loan secured by 27 shopping centers.
Assisted in the representation of the CHIPS Program Office of the U.S. Department of Commerce in connection with $1.5 billion CHIPS Incentive Award to GlobalFoundries.
Assisted in the representation of the CHIPS Program Office of the U.S. Department of Commerce in connection with $123 million CHIPS Incentive Award to Polar Semiconductor.
Assisted in the representation of a publicly traded offshore exploration and drilling company in connection with $50 million first lien revolving credit facility and advised on simultaneous $350 million high yield secured notes offering.
Assisted in the representation of a private equity firm as borrower in a $500 million reserve based credit facility.
Assisted in the representation of a joint-venture in the acquisition and construction financing of an $80 million industrial facility.
Assisted in the representation of landlord in the leasing of a 173,000 square foot industrial facility in Houston, Texas.
Assisted in the representation of purchaser in the acquisition and financing of a 180 room hotel in El Paso, Texas.
Assisted in the representation of borrower in the refinancing of a 950 room hotel in Jacksonville, Florida, including mortgage and mezzanine loans in the aggregate amount of $93 million.
Assisted in the representation of a motorcycle parts manufacturer as borrower in a $650 million revolving credit facility.
Assisted in the representation of an upstream oil and gas company as borrower in a $50 million revolving credit facility.
Assisted in the representation of a midstream oil and gas company as borrower in a $65 million senior secured term loan credit facility.
Assisted in the representation of administrative agent in a $100 million senior secured revolving and multi-draw term loan credit facility.
Assisted in the representation of administrative agent in a $180 million secured revolving credit facility for a POS software company.
Assisted in the representation of an oil and gas company in the $565 million sale and subsequent leaseback of its affiliate’s corporate campus in The Woodlands, Texas and the sale of its campus in the West Houston Energy Corridor.
Assisted in the representation of a commercial real estate developer in connection with a $2.0 billion construction loan to finance logistics facilities located in five states.
Assisted in the representation of a hospitality investment and management company in connection with a $57 million loan secured by a ski resort and spa.
Assisted in the representation of a real estate investment company in the $215 million purchase and subsequent financing of a 45 hotel portfolio located across 23 states.
