Overview

Hak focuses his practice on class action defense and complex commercial, financial services, cybersecurity, and data privacy litigation. Hak has defended banks, credit reporting agencies, and mortgage servicers against claims brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Consumer Credit Reporting Agencies Act, Homeowner Bill of Rights, and Unfair Competition Law. He has also represented broker-dealers, investment advisors, registered representatives, and other clients in regulatory proceedings and against claims involving an array of investment products and strategies, as well as in FINRA arbitrations.
