The Hunton Andrews Kurth Insurance Coverage Practice Group is pleased to announce that insurance coverage associate Latosha M. Ellis has been honored by Virginia Lawyers Media, the publisher of Virginia Lawyers Weekly, in its 2020 class of “Up & Coming Lawyers.”

Latosha is not only a leader in our group, but she is a leader in the bar. She serves as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee’s 2021 CLE Seminar, an annual seminar where 300+ leading lawyers and insurance professionals attend cutting-edge and informative plenary, breakout, and roundtable programs and valuable networking sessions over the course of three days. In addition, Latosha is a Planning Member of the ABA Section of Litigation Professional Development Committee, for which she has organized several CLE programs.

Additionally, Latosha has been recognized for her state bar involvement, earning the Virginia State Bar Young Lawyers Conference Significant Service Award early in her career in both 2016 and 2017. She was also recently elected secretary of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

Latosha’s accomplishments as a young lawyer are outstanding.  Latosha exemplifies professionalism and a commitment to make the practice of law more accessible and just. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Latosha!
