Dallas Business Journal Names Amber Rogers To 2022 Leaders in Diversity List

HuntonAK labor and employment partner Amber Rogers was recently named to the Dallas Business Journal’s 2022 Leaders in Diversity awards.

The Leader in Diversity awards honors organizations and individuals who have “shown exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in business leadership and who bolster equality across all areas of diversity.”

Amber and the other honorees will be recognized at a special awards event in February 2022 and will be featured in a special publication in print and online in the Dallas Business Journal. To view the complete list of honorees, please see here.

Amber serves as the hiring partner of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Dallas office and is the first African-American woman elected to the firm’s Executive Committee. Amber also is the co-chair of the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee for the Dallas office. She is a community leader and promoter of diversity in the legal community having co-founded The NEW (Network of Empowered Women) Roundtable, a group focused on influencing, empowering and impacting careers of African-American women attorneys.

Amber was recently named as a 2021 “On the Rise” honoree at the Texas Legal Excellence Awards by ALM Media and Texas Lawyer, 2021 Trailblazer South by American Lawyer, listed among Bloomberg Law’s 40 Under 40, 2021, and 2021 Employment Rising Star 2021 by Law360.
